YOGA AT WORK: PRACTICAL TECHNIQUES FOR STRESS AND ITS EFFECTS
This two hour class is designed to introduce the concept of stress and its effects from a yogic perspective. Poor body mechanics can lead to injuries, including the back- the #1 reason for missed work. No special clothing or equipment is necessary.
Participants will learn and experience:
1) How practical & “portable” breathing practices can greatly reduce effects of stress.
2) Specific stretches that can be done anywhere and at any time.
3) Mindfulness practices to incorporate into daily life.
CREATIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT: ANCIENT PRACTICES FOR MODERN TIMES
This two hour workshop explores the concept of stress. It will be informative as well as experiential. No special clothing or equipment is necessary.
Discussion, light stretching, breathing techniques and mindfulness will be used to help participants:
1) Understand the stress cycle and its effects on physical, emotional and psychological health.
2) Experience awareness, breathing, movement & mindfulness practices.
3) Create a plan to mediate the effects of stress.
BACK WELLNESS: LEARN WAYS TO MANAGE AND SUPPORT YOUR BACK HEALTH

In this two hour format participants will:
1) Understand how mind, body and spirit impact back health.
2) Look at the effects of postural habits on wellness with an emphasis on back health.
3) Create and experience a plan for physical and mental well-being using gentle physical movements, breathing and relaxation techniques.
FIVE WAYS TO MEDITATE: EXPERIENCE FIVE APPROACHES TO MINDFULNESS
Meditation can be a vital and integrated part of our daily lives and help us to act from a more balanced state of being.
In this 2 hr. workshop, learn techniques to:
1) Break the stress cycle with five, 15 or 30 minute practices.
2) Disengage from emotions and thoughts.
3) Create greater harmony in our personal and work lives.
